Cereal porridge

I do not eat oat or cereal porridge for breakfast too often. The truth is that because of its relatively high glycemic index, it doesn’t really satisfy me for long. In order to improve its characteristics, I always attempt to enrich it with proteins. This porridge was prepared from instant mixture I bought from Lidl, which actually surprised me positively. It was ready in about 3 minutes, so this thingy is great for all you morning rushers out there!
Ingredients:
200 ml bold milk
20 g of cereal mixture
50 g blueberries
10 g protein powder
10 g dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)
raspberies, nuts for decoration
If you don't have the mixture, you can also make your own oat porridge. It is also very tasty and quick option. I usually use about 40 g of oats and I boil them in water only. Naturally you can also use milk (cow/soya/almond) but keep in mind that it increases the calories. When choosing your milk (other than traditional cow milk), always go for unsweetened and as natural alternatives as possible.
I typically increase protein content by adding protein powder and also Šmakoun*
The great thing about porridge is it’s variability. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your favorite ingredients!
