Food Facts - Raw Nuts

  • contain monounsaturated and polyunsaturated (omega 3) fatty acids

  • support the right functioning of thyroid (thyroid influences among others the speed of metabolism and calories burning, heart function and fertility)

  • decrease the ghrelin level - hormon responsible for appetite (also known as "hunger hormon")

  • increase the testosteron level, testosteron sustains high energy levels, speeds up the metabolism and increases libido ;)

  • protect bones, prevent heart diseases, inflammations and diabetes

Eat nuts guys! Always go for raw, unsalted alternatives (you want to keep it as natural as possible).

However, don't forget they are very high in calories, keep the daily doses small (1 handful~10-20 g)
